Hello York parents/guardians!

              Report cards for the 3rd quarter wend home last Friday. Please email me for a conference if you would like to meet about how your child is doing or just email me for a quick short summary of what I’m seeing in the classroom.

              The last field trip of the year is on the 22nd to the Raleigh Museum of Natural Science. Please let me know if you would be able to join us as a chaperone! It will be the morning half of the day and we will be eating lunch there and coming back right after lunch.

I am available at 8:15am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; and at 4:15pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

              Students are encouraged to complete 3 math assignments and 3 reading assignments on Scootpad.com each week. Students will be able to work on them over the weekend as well.

              Thank you for those of you who have donated healthy snacks recently! The snacks do go away fast and we are always in need.

             Parents, students, and community members brace yourself for the most awesome experience seeing student minds come to life!  Come check out York's STEM Expo March 19th, 2016 from 11-1 pm.  We'll have hands-on activities, presentations, and the latest and greatest technology running.  Like robots?  Virtual Reality?  Digging for treasures?  Well you can experience all that and much much more!  So, buckle up and head to York Elementary School, Saturday, March 19th!  Food trucks will also be here for your dining pleasure!  (The Humble Pig, American Meltdown, and Kona Ice)  Come help us "Create a Green Scene!"
